Our vision

Target Education Alliance was set up in 2012 to support pupils from schools within our reach to ensure they have the best possible learning and teaching experience, through quality practitioners and schools that are led and resourced to high standards. This is achieved through the provision of a range of training and development opportunities as well as school to school support.

Ofsted: Good Practice Film - Bullying

This short film created by Ofsted shows how Hillcrest School and Community College has created a positive culture to prevent bullying and to tackle it when it occurs. The strategies used are explained and are discussed with students.

School Direct Placements

School Direct is a new programme proposed in the 2011 DfE ITT Strategy paper Training Our Next Generation of Outstanding Teachers. It allows schools, or groups of schools, to apply to the Teaching Agency (TA) to be able to offer an initial teacher training (ITT) place, which they then work with an accredited ITT provider to deliver.

Staff Profiles

At Target Education Alliance, we have a range of specialist staff each with their own area of expertise. These staff are available to support schools in a wide range of areas on a consultancy rate.

New Target Education Alliance
Training Room

Hillcrest School and Community College have been successful in securing funds from the government under the 'popular and expanding schools' budget. The £5.5million secured budget has allowed the school to grow to a 210 pupil entry which meets the needs of local families.

New Build

Funds have provided a new, three storey teaching block with 12 classrooms and also an eye-catching dining room.

Target Education Alliance has a dedicated room for delivering professional training sessions. This can accommodate up to 50 people and is available for booking, subject to availability.

Upcoming Courses
